As part of our work on ‘People who Help Us’, Sergeant Richardson, one of our parents, volunteered to come into school to talk about his job.

He is in the Parachute Regiment and he brought some of his colleagues with him  to talk about military life and the armed forces.

It was such an exciting and informative visit. The children got to try on a parachute, use night vision glasses and look at military uniform and equipment.

Sergeant Richardson talked to the children about how important it is to work hard, to be resilient and to never give up.

He talked about aspirations and dreams and all the exciting opportunities the children will have when they grow up!

Thank you so much Sergeant Richardson – we really appreciate all your time and effort. The children got so much from this amazing and unique visit.
