As part of their topic work 'All Creatures Great and Small,' Year 2 children visited Flamingo Land Zoo. They had a fantastic day, exploring and investigating and discovering lots about animals. The children - and staff - particularly enjoyed all the first hand, practical opportunities to see, hear and touch lots of different creatures.
We had a fantastic day in school celebrating Chinese New Year. We did lots of activities, including dressing up in traditional Chinese costumes, sampling Chinese food and learning how to use chopsticks! Here is a slideshow of the day...
Year 2 children took part in a special music workshop and concert organised by Sinfonia Viva and Remarkable Arts. It was based on 'The Boat and the Blue' written and composed by Jack Ross. Here is our slideshow of this amazing classical music experience!
Year 1 children enjoyed their outdoor learning session on the field today, exploring the bushes, building dens and using magnifying glasses to observe signs of nature!
Year One children enjoyed a visit to Mr Sygrove's allotment as part of their topic work on 'Planting and Growing.'
