Our Year 2's have been working really hard on their art skills recently. 🖌🎨
The children enjoyed a trip to The Priory Church where they did some observational drawing, as well as having a visit from local artist, John Naylor. John helps the children to really enhance their drawings, focusing on shape, shading and contrast. 👨🏽🎨⛪
A big thank you to The Priory Church and John Naylor - and well done to the children for your exceptional work and behaviour whilst out and around in our local community. 😊💚 ... See MoreSee Less

As part of '30 Days Wild' we would love to see some pictures of the children taking part in 'wild' activities. 🍃🌊
Some ideas might include:
📸 Take photographs of minibeasts and blue skies
🍂 Create a piece of art using leaves, pinecones, twigs and feathers
🚯 Pick up litter and put it in the bin
🦋 Design a wild home (a bug hotel or hedgehog hut)
🐾 Spot animal footprints and see if you can identify what animal it is
📝 Write a wildlife quiz to challenge your friends and family
👂🏽 Listen for wild sounds – what can you hear?
🍽 Lunch in the wild!
Please send any photos via Dojo/Tapestry or to the school email address at: burlington.infants@eastriding.gov.uk - Thank you 😊 ... See MoreSee Less
